Terms & Conditions

  1. A 30% deposit of the total invoiced amount is to be paid on placement of the order. For custom made orders a 50% deposit is required.
  2. Orders can be paid by cash, cheque (made payable to Just Kids Furniture P/L), direct deposit or credit card.
  3. The balance of the order must be paid prior to the dispatch (including freight charge). Just Kids Furniture retains ownership of the goods until the goods are paid for in full.
  4. Allow up to 7 days for delivery from dispatch date. Please note that for remote areas, this time may be extended due to the frequency of delivery to the area by the carrier.
  5. Just Kids Furniture is made to order and takes approx 4-12 weeks to be made.
  6. All custom made orders (i.e. orders that are not our standard colours and designs) must be signed off by the customer. Just Kids Furniture will not accept any change of mind and/or returns on custom orders.
  7. Just Kids Furniture checks all furniture prior to dispatch and it therefore the customer’s responsibility to check for any damages on delivery. The delivery driver will hand the customer a Delivery Docket. The customer, on signing this document acknowledges that the goods have been received in good condition.
  8. Just Kids Furniture is handcrafted in Melbourne out of solid timbers, timber veneer & mdf. Any timber and timber veneer by nature has variations in grain and colour. Just Kids Furniture cannot guarantee the colour or wood grain of any piece of timber furniture.
  9. If the order is cancelled after 5 working days from receipt of deposit, a 20% cancellation fee will be deducted from the deposit received. Custom made orders incur a 40% cancellation fee.



  1. Just Kids Furniture can arrange delivery Australia wide.
  2. If Just Kids Furniture arranges the delivery we accept responsibility for:
    • i. Arranging delivery  ii. Any damages that occur in transit
  3. The freight company responsible for the delivery will contact the customer to advise the delivery date and time.
  4. Just Kids Furniture requires all customers to CHECK items of furniture for damage BEFORE signing the Delivery Docket.
  5. Once the Delivery Docket is signed, the customer has acknowledged that the goods have been received in good condition and has accepted the goods in that condition. It is therefore Important to check the items thoroughly before signing.
  6. If any item has been damaged, or has not been received or the item is incorrect, DO NOT accept the delivery or sign the Delivery Docket for the relevant item(s). If an item is damaged, it must be placed back on the truck and returned to Just Kids Furniture. A call to our factory (03 9587 0030) is to be made to advise of the damage and the action that has been taken (i.e. item has been placed back on the truck).
  7. Any damaged items will be replaced by Just Kids Furniture as soon as possible. The item(s) will be repaired at the discretion of Just Kids Furniture. The customer will be advised on a new delivery time for the item(s) once they are ready for dispatch.
  8. Freight is quoted based on delivery to ground level and a short distance from the unloading area only. PLEASE ADVISE if there are stairs or access is difficult as the freight carrier will not deliver unless advised in advance. Extra charges may apply.
  9. Health and Safety dictates that carriers must not remove their shoes while carrying furniture. It is therefore, your responsibility to protect your floor and ensure the furniture can get through doorways, down corridors etc.
  10. Prior to delivery, ensure that all precious items and other objects that may impede delivery or could be damaged are removed.



We offer the following care advice to provide you with peace of mind and allow you to look after your furniture in the best possible way. We advise the use of a water based cleaning agent only. The paint and stains used on our furniture is safe for children and is non-toxic which complies with Australian standards.
